PERSONAL STATEMENT: I came to know the Lord at an early age—around 11 or 12 years old. My father was a Baptist minister and I would memorize his sermons all the time and re-preach them to my friends at home after church. As a child, I loved reading the bible stories and retelling them to family and friends. I felt called to ministry at the age of 16 and began preaching at that age in a Pentecostal denominational church. I attended Bible college to better prepare for ministry and servant leadership. Influenced by two Christian traditions, I have come to realize that no one denomination has a monopoly on the love of God and the Christian message of hope and salvation.
