EVERY TRIBE, TONGUE AND NATION
When we gather together for worship every Sunday morning, we truly represent Christians from every tribe, tongue and nation. Our fellowship includes people from Burma, Brazil, Egypt, Kenya, Liberia, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Africa, and Trinidad. As well as people who originate from across America, places like California, Maine, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania, which also represents the diversity of our church. We are a small but growing church where honest and enduring friendships are made and valued.
As a part of God’s Kingdom present among us, we are also a church of joyful worship, relevant and practical teaching, continuing prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. We seek to put our faith into action in every area of our lives. Living life to the full as the Spirit of God fills us and directs us.
Our Church
We are a community of faith which embraces and reflects the rich diversity of culture, language, race, ethnicity, and nationality that characterize our city and our world. We believe these differences should not divide, but rather enrich our lives when we are united in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We hold to the historic Christian faith which remains not only viable but vibrant in the twenty-first century! We believe the love, purpose, and salvation of God are fully revealed in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and we believe the Holy Spirit continues to transform lives today by empowering us to love and serve God and our neighbors throughout our journey in life.
We are a community of faith, hope and love that values each individual and responds with compassion to the needs of the world. We are a place where people are encouraged to grow and empowered to serve – in both practical ways that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and in our larger community.
Therefore, we are committed to sustaining vital relationships so that authentic friendships can blossom and grow. A church family where everyone is welcomed home.
Our Vision
We know that every person matters to God, and we seek to be a community of faith for all people. We rejoice that God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to forgive our sins and change us into his likeness.
Our vision is to be a church where people are encouraged to grow in faith and are empowered to fully love and serve God as well as their neighbors and enemies. We want to truly reflect the diversity of our city as we experience the personal transforming power of God’s Spirit. And as we experience the Spirit’s transforming work of reconcilliation which unites all those who commit themselves to following Jesus.
