Give
Our weekly worship service includes a moment to give of our offerings to God as a part of our worship. We do this by thanking God for the many blessings in our lives, taking up a collection and asking God to multiply it for the benefit of others and to glorify God.
Below you can either press the “Heart of Giving” image to access our giving form, or you can download the Givelify app to your mobile phone and give your offerings to God and to the church.
By clicking the image above you can give your offerings to God and to WABC by using your debit or credit card. A giving form will appear for you to enter your giving amount, personal details and card information. This information is encrypted and securely stored by Givelify, the church’s third-party service provider. WABC will receive a direct deposit of your funds into our bank account as well as keep a record of your giving amount for year-end tax reporting purposes.
Another option is to give your offerings through Givelify by downloading their app from either Google Play or Apple’s App Store.
You can also mail your tithe and offering checks to WABC at the church’s address: 3920 Alton Place, NW, Washington, DC 20016-2210. Someone regularly goes to the church office to collect the mail each week.
Whichever way you may choose to give to the Lord, keep in mind these words written to the Corinthians, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:7-8).
